Congress Bursaries

CHRA offers a limited number of bursaries to its retired members, persons with lived experience, students and early career professionals. The bursaries cover the full cost of standard (Congress only) registration. If you would like to apply for a bursary, please do so by filling out the relevant bursary application form below.  The deadline to apply is April 6, 2022. Additional information on bursaries is included in the form.

How to Register

Click on the registration button at the bottom of the page and choose your registration option. You may choose to register for the full Congress and add-on further courses and events or, if you don’t plan to attend the Congress but would like to attend a course or other event, simply select one of the standalone registration options.

You may register more than one person at a time. Please have the names, titles, and email addresses of everyone you are registering available to you when you start the registration process.

You can pay by credit card immediately using PayPal or choose ‘Pay by invoice’ to pay by cheque, e-transfer or EFT. Please note that your registration will be listed as ‘Pending’ until you have paid the full balance.

Your registration selections cannot be edited once you have completed your registration. Contact us for assistance if you need to alter or cancel your registration.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Notice of cancellation or request for refund or substitution must be sent in writing to Julie McNamara at jmcnamara@chra-achru.ca . Cancellations received:

  • Before March 27, 2022 – full refund of monies paid less $25 processing fee.
  • Between March 26 and April 7, 2022 – 50% refund.
  • After April 7, 2022 – NO REFUNDS.
  • Covid-related cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellations made after April 7, 2022, for unpaid registrations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.  Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for refund cheques to be processed. We do not offer partial refunds. Substitutions are allowed, space permitting.
