High impact strategies for your deep energy retrofit with FCM's Green Municipal Fund
December 8, 2021 | 1:00-2:00pm EST
Are you and your housing organization on board with energy retrofits but overwhelmed with information or how to prioritize the best strategies? Join Stephen Dixon from the Canadian Institute for Energy Training (CIET) who will help ground you with basic concepts, demonstrate what a deep retrofit would look like for various common Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), highlight the highest value and most impactful ECMs, provide tips for where to make investments in your retrofit projects, and cover how to make a business case to support ECM implementation. Kaitlin Carroll from The Atmospheric Fund will share a case study example from Toronto Community Housing’s deep energy retrofit project to share how they selected ECMs and the energy savings that are possible through a retrofit. Finally, you'll hear from Chad Meda about FCM’s Sustainable Affordable Housing grants and capacity development tools available to help make your retrofit project a reality.
