CMHC’s National Housing Co-Investment Fund (NHCF) is a key pillar of the National Housing Strategy, providing $13 billion over 10 years in long-term, low-interest loans and contributions for the construction and revitalization of affordable housing. In response to feedback from CHRA and other stakeholders in the social, affordable, and non-profit housing sector, CMHC is in the process of implementing a number of key changes to the Co-investment Fund.
