Nicole sought a position on the Canadian Housing Renewal Association Board because she is committed to advancing safe, sustainable, and equitable housing across Canada. Her career spans housing, supportive housing, and mental health, giving her a systems level understanding of how stable housing, quality operations, and client safety intersect. As a Quality & Operations Manager with an education in HR Management, Nicole oversees organizational quality improvement, risk management, tenant relations, and the full scope of property and facility operations across multiple sites. This includes capital planning, legislative compliance, workplace health and safety, and ensuring that all housing environments remain safe, functional, and client centred.
Nicole’s work requires strategic planning, policy development, environmental scanning, and leading cross organizational initiatives—skills directly aligned with CHRA’s governance needs. She also brings national sector engagement through her experience as a CHRA Housing Professionals Mentorship Program mentee and now mentor, as well as her presentation at last year’s National Housing Congress on supportive housing models. Additionally, her services on the MNPHA Board has strengthened her governance experience and deepened her understanding of sector wide challenges.
