Maya is the CEO of Trinity Place Foundation of Alberta (TPFA), a registered charity working to serve some of Calgary’s most vulnerable through unique programs and collaborations offering quality care.
Maya has extensive experience in the sector leading and transforming organizations for better outcomes and long-term sustainability. In addition, her areas of expertise include governance, strategic planning, advocacy, program development, and housing policy. She holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and is passionate about not only building inclusive housing but also creating inclusive and thriving workplaces.
Over the years Maya has been involved with various action groups and initiatives, more recently the City of Calgary’s Housing and Affordability Task Force, and has spoken locally, provincially, and nationally on issues of housing policy, resident engagement, sustainability, and the importance of leadership and organizational culture in improving housing sector outcomes.
