Kelly is a settler of Irish and mixed European origin, born and raised on Treaty 7 Territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy. As an accomplished senior leader and award-winning communicator, she has worked in public relations for non-profits for over 20 years in British Columbia. Kelly holds a Master’s Degree in Justice Studies, and is certified Public Engagement Practitioner.
Kelly brings a strong equity lens to CHRA’s Board as a committed Indigenous accomplice, dedicated to dismantling racist systems of oppression and advocating for social justice. She also sits on the BC Non-Profit Network Steering Committee, which provides a broad perspective and insightful data.
