CHRA releases its 2023 Annual Report

2023 was a big year for CHRA:  

• The CHRA Indigenous Caucus helped facilitate the formation of The National Indigenous Collaborative Housing Inc. (NICHI).
• We held our first in-person CHRA National Congress since 2019 in Winnipeg, bringing over 500 community housing professionals together for 4 days of learning, networking, and planning for the future of the sector.
• Housing on the Hill 2023 brought more than 100 housing professionals and leaders together in Ottawa to meet with MPs to discuss our most urgent advocacy priorities.
• We released our 2023-2027 Strategic Plan, which articulates CHRA’s goals in working towards our vision of a thriving housing system in Canada, where we realize the right to housing for all.
• With the input of our members, we communicated regularly with the federal government in the form of official submissions and letters.
