Leadership 101
The greatest leaders empower those around them to be the best they can be. In turn, they empower and support others to become leaders and mentors themselves. But what does it mean to be a leader and mentor in the housing and homelessness sectors today? How do we demonstrate leadership and provide mentorship to tackle the challenges of today and prepare for the trials of tomorrow? As veteran mentors in the Housing Professionals Mentorship Program and leaders in their own right, our panelists are well-suited to exploring these questions from a diversity of perspectives.

Innovative Leadership:Â Breaking the Mold
There are some leaders who do things the way they've always been done, and there are some leaders who set new paths and new directions.  Innovative leadership is not easy; certainly not in housing. But with different ways of thinking, different approaches and different leadership tactics, innovative leaders are able to break new ground and create new opportunities for growth and sustainability. Our panelists have demonstrated innovative leadership in the housing sector in a number of ways - listen to how they set new paths for their organizations, how they addressed resistance, and how you too can become an innovative leader in your field.
