Professionals who work in helping professions are often overlooked when it comes to accessing support themselves. Working in housing brings people into the hearts and homes of their clients in unique ways.
Domestic violence impacts thousands of Canadians each year. This workshop will equip you with the training and tools and supports to recognize the signs of domestic violence that could be unique to housing professionals in diverse roles and diverse communities. Join us to understand how domestic violence relates to legislated requirements for employers to provide safe workplaces as per the Occupational Health and Safety Legislation in Alberta and similar legislation across Canada.
