With over 22 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including 16 years at Toronto Community Housing (TCHC), I am deeply committed to strengthening Canada’s housing sector through collaboration, innovation, and tenant-centered strategies.
My career has been shaped by a passion for community development, social investment, and equitable housing solutions. From my early work in international development to my leadership roles at TCHC, I have remained focused on creating meaningful impact. As Chief Operating Officer at TCHC, I oversee operational services that directly affect the lives of thousands of tenants, including strategic initiatives that have improved tenant satisfaction, reduced vacancies and arrears, and enhanced service delivery through data-driven decision-making.
I bring to the CHRA Board extensive experience in inter-agency collaboration, tenant engagement, and social development. My leadership in TCHC’s Strategy to Confront AntiBlack Racism underscores my dedication to equity and inclusion in housing policy and practice. I am eager to contribute my expertise, insights, and operational perspective to CHRA, helping to advance policies and programs that ensure safe, affordable, and inclusive housing for all Canadians.
