In my exciting career journey as a public sector leader, I have been fortunate to accumulate significant governance and executive leadership experience within non-profit organizations, provincial, and municipal government sectors and health care organizations.
Within Civida, the non-profit housing sector, and various levels of government, I have had the privilege of serving alongside passionate individuals committed to making a positive impact for vulnerable people in our community. Through collaboration with stakeholders and transparent leadership, I have sought to foster inclusive governance and sustainable development.
In my current role within Civida, we have had the opportunity to expand the number of people housed by over 2500 in the last year. We also have had high levels of success in securing much needed funding to better maintain the over 5300 homes owned or managed.
I have significant governance experience as a former board member with the United Way of the Capital Region, current chair of e4c (a large not for profit) and current board member the Boys and Girls Club.
I am very excited about the opportunity to serve on the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association Board to assist in the great work that is underway to promote the housing needs of Canadians.
