CHRA and Canadian Home Builders Association Release New Research Report
CHRA and the Canadian Home Builders Association, with the support of Genworth Canada, have released a new research report prepared by Steve Pomeroy and Greg Lampert entitled “Examining the Dynamics of Canada’s Housing Tenure System: Implications for a National Housing Strategy”. This report examines the full housing spectrum, and looks at policy changes and how policy impacts housing along the spectrum. While the paper provides a detailed examination of the trends and dynamics of the housing system, some of the data used was based on the 2011 National Household Survey. With the housing data from the 2016 census recently released, we hope the paper can be updated early in 2018. A copy of the report can be found here. (note – the paper is only available in English).
