Examining the Impacts of Expiring Operating Agreements: A Simplified Assessment Tool
CHRA is re-launching a recently updated version of the Simplified Assessment Tool for Examining the Impacts of Expiring Operating Agreements developed by Steve Pomeroy, Focus Consulting Inc. The tool is designed to analyze single projects, and allows small providers to undertake two types of assessments: a) determining project viability; and b) examining capital reserve adequacy.
The Simple Assessment Tool provides the first step in helping social housing providers to identify the challenges they may face post-expiry of federal operating agreements, and is accompanied by the companion document Addressing the Expiring Subsidy Challenge, providing more information on various options your organization can explore based on the outcomes.
