The Housing Professional Mentorship Program is designed to connect experienced housing professionals with those who are ready to take the next step in their professional journey, or graduate students whose research is focused on housing or homelessness in Canada. The program began in 2018 with 28 mentor/mentee matches.

Comprehensive learning, leadership development and mentorship to:
To participate in the Housing Professionals Mentorship Program, you (or your organization) must be a member of Canadian Housing and Renewal Association (CHRA), CIH Canada, or Housing Partnership Canada (HPC) in good standing. Potential mentees must currently be employed in the housing/homelessness sector or in a graduate program doing research on housing or homelessness. Mentors may be employed or recently retired from the sector.
Your organization must fully support your participation and time commitment (minimum 25 hours) to the program.
Eligibility for mentees will not be limited to age, though preference will be given to housing professionals early in their careers, or housing professionals looking to take the next step in their professional journey, to promote learning, development and growth in the sector.
A call for applications for 2019 will open in early fall.
HPMP is a collaboration between CHRA, CIH Canada, and HPC
