Bursaries

Bursaries for People with Lived Experience or Tenant Representatives

Bursaries for individuals with lived experience and/or tenant representatives will be made available in January – more information to come soon. Discounted registration rates for Congress and Pre-Congress sessions are also available.

Bursaries for Early Career Professionals

We are offering a limited number of partial bursaries to Early Career Professionals attending Congress to help offset travel and accommodation expenses. Discounted registration rates for Congress and Pre-Congress sessions are also available.

Selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, and will take into consideration geographic equity. Preference will also be given to those who have submitted a Call for Proposals for Congress 2020 and have been selected to speak.

Individuals selected for an Early Career Professional bursary are required to register and pay to attend Congress at the discounted rate and are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.

Please note

A limited number of bursaries are available. Bursary recipients from past years are welcome to re-apply, however subsidy rates vary for returning participants.

  • First time bursary recipients will receive up to 75% of their return travel and $45 per night to help offset the cost of accommodation, up to a maximum.
  • Returning recipients will receive up to 50% of their return travel and $30 per night to help offset the cost of accommodation, up to a maximum.
  • Bursary recipients from Saskatoon, SK are not eligible for travel and accommodation bursaries, and will rather be considered for a partial bursary to offset the cost of the Congress discounted registration rates.
